If you haven’t tried frozen yogurt bark yet, get ready to make your new favourite Summertime dessert. It’s creamy, high in protein and endlessly customisable to suit your taste. I like to mix in some protein powder which makes the yogurt bark creamier plus provides some flavour to the yogurt. I also prefer to go for a 2% fat Greek yogurt as the fat helps prevent the bark becoming too icy. Other than that, go wild with the toppings – swirl in nut butters, protein creams or jam and sprinkle on nuts/seeds, granola or fruit.

Ingredients

8 Persons

  • 350 g
    2% fat Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp
    Whey Protein Strawberry
  • 2 tbsp
    Peanut Butter
  • 150 g
    strawberries, sliced
  • 25 g
    milk chocolate chips

Preparation

  • 1

Place 100g of the yogurt into a bowl and add the strawberry whey protein then mix until smooth.

  • 2

Line a small baking tray with baking paper then dot the remaining plain yogurt on the tray. Use an offset spatula or butter knife to spread the yogurt into a thin, even layer. Dot with the strawberry yogurt mixture and swirl in.

  • 3

Drizzle with the peanut butter and then gently swirl through.

  • 4

Sprinkle on the strawberries and chocolate chips then freeze for 2-4 hours, until solid.

  • 5

Break into bite sized pieces and serve immediately. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the freezer.
