What are the advantages of having an account?

Having an account not only helps you to easily view your orders and subscriptions, but also brings you a lot of benefits with every purchase.

How can I change my details?

Just log on in to your account. At the bottom of your page you will find your email address, your delivery address which can be change at any time.

How do I delete my account ?
All you need to do is send an email to service@foodspring.co.uk with your details, such as name and email address that you use to create your account, so that we can find you quickly in the system. We'll take care of the rest!
How can I create a user account?

To create an account, you need to go to the homepage of our online shop. By clicking on the icon in the top right corner, the registration option will appear. By selecting 'Sign up", you can fill in all fields in the 'I am a new customer!' section. When the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and you can complete your first order.

I forgot my password

Just click on "Forgot password" and you will receive an email to restore your password.

Subscription

Where I can find my subscription id?
You can find your subscription id in your account in the section: "my subscriptions".
Can I order without a subscription ?
Of course! If you don't want a subscription, don't activate the checkbox which is displayed in the shopping cart with regular deliveries. You will find this next to each product, with the note on 10% discount.
What are the payment options for the subscription?

If you would like to create a subscription, you have the option of paying by direct debit, credit card or PayPal.

This payment method only needs to be set once and will continue until you unsubscribe.

You will automatically be debited from the selected account at regular intervals (delivery interval). So you don't have to worry about ordering or paying.

How can I change the products in my subscription?

Currently only the taste of individual products can be changed (e.g. "Whey Protein Raspberry" to "Whey Protein Chocolate"). You can set this yourself in your account under "My subscriptions".

However, if you would like to change the number of products or individual flavours in a package (e.g. "muscle building package"), please contact us with your subscription ID via email to service@foodspring.co.uk. We will then terminate the subscription for you so that you can place a new one with the desired products.

How do I cancel my subscription?
The best way to do it is contacting us via email to service@foodspring.co.uk. Please add your subscription ID and tell us your request. We will cancel your subscription as soon as possible.
Will my current order be cancelled if you cancel my subscription?

No. We can cancel your subscription at any time and the planned delivery won't be affected.

Of course, we can also cancel your order if it has not been shipped yet.

What are the advantages of the subscription?

With a subscription, you can have your favorite products delivered to your home on a regular basis. You can arrange your subscription as you like.

You can set the interval of your deliveries yourself or suspend deliveries if you are on holiday.

If you want to unsubscribe, you can write us a short email - we'll do the rest for you.

How can I skip the next automatic delivery?

Are you on holiday or do you still have enough products at home?

Then you can simply skip the next delivery in your account under "My subscriptions" by clicking on "Skip delivery".

If you would like to suspend several deliveries or cancel your subscription completely, please contact us with your subscription ID via email to service@foodspring.co.uk and we will do the rest for you.

How can I change the delivery interval of my subscription?

If you want to receive your automatic delivery more often or less often, we can adjust the delivery interval to your needs.

Simply contact us via our contact form via email to service@foodspring.co.uk with your subscription ID and let us know the desired delivery interval. You can choose between 1-12 weeks.

We will then adjust it immediately and let you know when your next delivery will leave our warehouse.

Loyalty programm

How does the bonus program work ?

The bonus program consists of three levels. New customers start as rookie with zero bonus points and the regular conditions for free products and free shipping.

Points are collected with every order. From 250 points you are an insider and benefit from a longer period to return our products, lower amount for free products, as well as free shipping from a smaller purchase value.

If you have collected 1000 bonus points, you are an absolute expert and enjoy your orders without shipping costs and with a lot of free products to try out!

You can also check your current level and benefits in your account at any time.

Why has my bonus point amount lowered ?
This is because the bonus points you receive always expire after one year. You can find out the expiration date of the bonus points in the section "My Account"> "Bonus Program".
Why haven't I received any bonus points yet ?

We're sorry that you haven't receive any bonus points for your last order! Apparently something went wrong during the ordering process.

Sometimes it's because you weren't logged in when you placed your order or your invoice is still open. If, after two or three days, you still can't see any points in your account, it's best to contact our team by email or phone.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
To unsubscribe, just send a message to service@foodspring.co.uk or open the last newsletter, scroll to the bottom of the email and click unsubscribe.
How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
To subscribe, you can go to the start page of our shop and scroll down. There you will find a bar that you can fill out with your email address. You will then receive an email from us confirming your registration. Follow the instructions and you will be registered!

How can I refer a friend ?

After your purchase you have the possibility to send a personalized link to your friends and family, just copy and share it from "Refer friends".

The referred friend has to register with us via this link. This point is really important, otherwise the process will not work. Afterwards the referred person can place an order (minimum order value £40).

If the order was successful, you will then receive £15 credit on your account, which you can redeem at any time in the shopping cart below.

Why haven't I received my credit yet ?
If the person you referred has completed their order and you have not received credit yet, something has probably gone wrong during the process. In this case you can send us an email to service@foodspring.co.uk

Shipment status

My order was misdirected.

If our shipping service provider is unable to successfully redirect and deliver your shipment, your package will be returned to us . You can also see that in the shipping tracking. Please contcat us at this time, so that we can reimburse you.

How can I track my order?
Normally your order will be shipped in 1-3 business days after placing your order. At this point you will receive a shipping confirmation email and a link to track your shipment. Use this tracking to stay up to date.

Where is my order?

Would you like to know where your order is or when it is expected to be delivered? No problem! You will receive a shipping confirmation and a tracking link as soon as your package is shipped. Until you receive your order, you can always check it to see how far your shipment has gone.

Change of address

My package didn't arrive because of a wrong address.
If your parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, our shipping company will most likely return it to us. In this case you would be able to see this in the tracking section: the order will be automatically refunded once it reaches the warehouse. We kindly ask you to place a new order.
How can I change my delivery address?

If you made a mistake in your address the fastest solution is to contact us via e-mail at service@foodspring.co.uk. If you already received your tracking link, we would kindly ask you to contact the delivery service. Sometimes you are able to change your address directly with them. You can also change your preferred address in your user account, but please take note that this does not affect any orders that have already been placed.

Faulty delivery

Do I have to return a damaged shipment?

We are very sorry that your order arrived damaged!

It depends on the case if we need the products for the complaint or if pictures are enough. It is better to send us an email with pictures of the damaged items right from the start so we can find a solution straight away for you.

What do I do if a part of my order is missing?

If an item is missing even though it is listed on your delivery note, please contact us at service@foodspting.co.uk.

We will then immediately take care of your case.

I have received the wrong products

We're very sorry you got the wrong delivery.

In order to be able to solve this inconvenience as soon as possible, we need a photo of the received products. You simply send it to us by e-mail. Then we can see what went wrong. We will then make sure that you receive the right goods as soon as possible.

I received a damaged product, what can I do?

We are terribly sorry if you have received broken products. We can assure you the products left our warehouse in a perfect state. Unfortunately, packages are sometimes damaged during their journey.

Please don't hesitate to contact us and report the damage. Please send us an email with photos that show the damage. We will then take care of it as quickly as possible.

I have ordered through Amazon and I have problems with my delivery.

Your order was shipped via Amazon, which is why we can not see any information about your package.

In that case, we would kindly ask you to contact Amazon Customer Service directly to find a solution.

The Amazon Customer Service is there for you from Monday to Saturday, from 6 am to 12 am and on Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.

Is it possible to send my parcel to a pick up point?

It is unfortunately not possible to send a parcel to a pick up point.

Can I buy your products in a store?

If you need our products immediately, you will find a small selection of our products in some stores, pharmacies and gyms. The selection, however, is different from store to store.

Can I choose a desired delivery date?
Unfortunately it is not possible to choose a desired delivery date. Normally your package should arrive within 3-5 days. Most of the time you can choose your desired delivery spot where you can pick it up later. To adjust this option, please contact the distribution service with your tracking number.
Do you offer express delivery?

Unfortunately we do not offer express delivery but we try to send out all packages as soon as possible.

How high are the delivery costs?

In the UK shipping is free for orders over £50. For orders below £50 the delivery fee is £3.90.

My PayPal payment did not go through. Can I still complete my order?
If you are not sure that your payment has gone through or that your order has been placed, please contact us at service@foodspring.co.uk with a screenshot of the payment. We will investigate this as soon as possible.

A product is out of stock. When will it be back?

If a product is currently not available in our online shop, this is probably due to an unexpected high demand. Mostly, the product will be available again quickly.

You can be notified when the product is back in stock. The best way to do this is to subscribe to our newsletter. Then you will be informed as soon as it is available again.

I can't complete my order.

We are sorry that there are problems with your order process! We are happy to help you here.

Please send us an email (service@foodspring.co.uk) with a screenshot of the error message or tell us exactly where you can't go on. We will try to find a solution!

Can I take over an old order?

You've found your favourite products and don't want to pick them up again by your next order? You don't have to!

Just log in to your account and go to My Orders. Here you get an overview of your last orders. Just click on the left side of the order you want to receive again and all products will be placed to your shopping cart automatically.

Product modification

Can I select or change my free products?

Unfortunately, the free products cannot be changed becuase the system automatically adapts them to your order. If you do not need the free products, you can remove them from your shopping cart.

Can I change the products of my order?

After placing an order, it is unfortunately no longer possible to change the taste of a product or add another one. However, you are welcome to contact us so we can check if a cancellation is still possible or send you a return label.

As far as products from a subscription are concerned, it's different again. Here you can log in at any time and change the taste of your products. The change will then take effect with the next delivery.

Cancellation

How can I cancel my order?

If you just placed your order, please contact us via email. We can usually cancel your order within the first hour after you place it. After that we no longer have the possibility to stop the shipment.
You can refuse the parcel and it will be returned to our warehouse. After receiving the parcel we will refund you.

Where can I find my order number?

You'll find your order number in your user account or on your order confirmation. The order number starts with 8K.

How can I change my invoice address?

Unfortunately it is not possible for us to change the address on your invoice after you placed your order. Therefore, it is important that the address is entered correctly during the order process.

If you have entered the wrong invoice address, you can contact us within 30 minutes after placing your order. In the best case, we can cancel your order so that you can create it again with the correct informations.

How do I get a voucher?
We don't send discount codes on request. However, you can follow us on our social networks to benefit from discounts and promotions.
Where can I enter my discount code?

You can enter your code in your order overview. Below Summary you can find a space to register your discount code. You have to register your code before proceeding to checkout

Why does my voucher not work?

Sometimes a voucher doesn't work if your order doesn't stick to the terms.

There may be a condition such as a minimum order value, an expiration date, a restriction on which products (discounted products such as packages are excluded) the voucher can be applied to, or a restriction on which customers (for example only new customers) can redeem it.

Please also check that you are actually placing your order at the foodspring online shop of your country. You will also need to manually enter the voucher code in the order overview at last, as it will not be deducted if you try to do so via link.

Also make sure that you enter the code correctly and do not accidentally mix up an "O" with a zero. As soon as you have entered the code, the discount will be displayed in the order overview.

Can I redeem my voucher afterwards?

Unfortunately it is not possible to add a voucher after placing an order.

You can enter the voucher code in your order overview. You will get to the order overview after you have clicked on "Checkout" in your shopping cart. There is a grey font with "coupon code available" directly above the green field "Buy now". If you click on it, you will find the field to enter the voucher. If the code has been accepted, you will see this in the order overview.

Gift card / credit

How do I buy a gift card?

Would you like to make someone happy and offer a gift card from foodspring? Perfect - We have gift cards for different amounts in our online shop. Simply enter the word gift at the top of the search bar and you can add it to your shopping cart.

After your order is completed, the voucher will be sent to you by e-mail as a PDF file. You can then print it out directly and give it away!

How do I redeem my gift card?

In order to redeem your gift card, you must first create a customer account or log in to your customer account. Then you can deposit your gift card as follows:

On the gift card you will find an individual code which you can redeem immediately. Simply enter the code in your customer account in the "Shop credit / gift card" area. The value of the gift card will be added to the shop balance and can be used during the next orders. Simply apply the credit in the area of the shopping cart. There you click on "Redeem credit" and the amount will be immediately deducted from the total amount.

How do I apply my shop credit?

You have received a shop credit or a gift card and now want to redeem it?

You can do this easily by scrolling down the shopping cart. There you will see a small field that says "Redeem credit". Click on it and go to the next step "Checkout". In the overview you will then see the amount deducted and the reduced amount.

Can I use my shop credit and a voucher at the same time?

Yes, you can use your shop credit and a voucher at the same time. Only several vouchers cannot be used for the same order.

If you want to redeem your shop credit, you must first log in to your account. Then you can apply the credit in the shopping cart.

After that you can apply a voucher directly in the order overview. You will come to the order overview after you have clicked on "Checkout" in the shopping cart. Where does your protein come from?
Our protein is made from NZMP. The name NZMP stands for "New Zealand Milk Product". New Zealand is known for its green spaces and lush meadows, perfect for cows that can stay outdoors all year round. It has always been essential for us to offer pasture milk protein because the good quality of the protein depends entirely on the health and well-being of the cow that produces it. With this label we can confirm that our cows spend at least 90% of their time outdoor.

Allergies and intolerances

What is the difference between saturated and unsaturated fats?

Fatty acids are components of fats and have a decisive influence on the properties and functions of fats in the body.

Saturated fatty acids are mainly found in animal products and are solid at room temperature. For example, you can find saturated fats in meat, butter, but also coconut oil. Saturated fats tend to heat well because they are relatively stable in the face of heat.

Unsaturated fatty acids are mainly found in plants, but also in fatty fish. They are liquid at room temperature. For example, you can find them in olive oil, rapeseed oil, salmon, mackerel or herring. The polyunsaturated fats are particularly healthy, as in linseed or salmon. (Poly)unsaturated fats should not be heated at all or only slightly, otherwise the positive properties will be lost.

In your diet, the proportion of saturated fats should be as low as possible, while the proportion of unsaturated fats should be higher.

Too many saturated fats can lead to deposits in the veins (cholesterol), while unsaturated fats support your immune system, are important for the development of body structures and can break down bad cholesterol.

What are carbohydrates?
Carbohydrates, along with fats and protein, are the main sources of energy for your body. Especially the brain covers its energy needs with carbs in the first place. You should therefore consume at least half of your daily calorie intake through carbohydrates. You find them in plant based foods such as noodles, potatoes, fruits and vegetables, but also in some animal products e.g. Milk.
Is spicy food healthy?

Yes it is.

Especially when it gets colder outside, spicy food is always a good choice. The ingredient capsaicin, which is contained in the chili, provides the intense pungency and heats us up properly. As a result, the thermogenesis, known as the heat generator of our body, is stimulated. This means that your body uses energy and burns calories.

Capsaicin is found in cayenne pepper, spicy pepper, chilli pepper, Tabasco and pepperoni. The world's hottest chilli sauce measured up to 9 million sharpness units. In comparison: A conventional Tabasco sauce has about 2500 units.

Healthy fats: Friend or Foe?

Fats do not always make you gain weight. But what are healty fats? Here is some advice as to which fats are healthy and what types of food to avoid:

The types of fat are seperated into saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The unsaturated ones are healthy, sate you for longer, and are essential in a lot of important processes in your body. The monounsaturated fatty acids, which help you in the uptake of fat-soluable vitamins, are found in foods such as avocados, olive oil, peanut butter, etc.

Polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as Omega 3, are essential for your heart-, brain- and eye function and can be found in e.g walnuts, fatty salt-water fisch and chia seeds.

The saturated fatty acids should make up less than 10% of your daily calorie intake, since they are suspected in raising your LDL-cholesterol levels, which is unhealthy. They are found primarily in animal products, e.g fatty meats, sausages, whole milk products, cream and butter. These products should be consumed in moderation, replaced through healthier alternatives or avoided.

How do I gain weight?
To gain weight, you need a calorie surplus. That means you have to eat more calories than you consume. Especially foods such as nuts, nutmeg or oils are rich in calories and help you to eat more calories faster. But make sure that you stick to healthy food.
How do I calculate my macro needs?

To balance out your diet, you have to distribute your macros perfectly. For everybody the needs are different and can differ according your goal.

Basically you should follow these rules:

  • If you want to lose weight you should include a lot of protein in your daily diet, some healthy fats and few carbohydrates. The distribution should look like this: 20-30% carbs, 40% protein, 30-40% fats
  • To gain muscles you should follow a macro distribution that looks like this: 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fats
  • You don't follow a specific goal but you want to stay healthy? Then you should distribute your macros like this: 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fats

The base for your macro needs is your calorie requirement. First, you have to calculate your calorie requirement. Then you can calculate for carbs and protein 4,9 large calories/ g and for fats 9 large calories/ g.

For instance loosing weight:

20% carbs = 400 kcal --> divide by 4,9 = around 82 g/ day

40% proteins = 800 kcal --> divide by 4,9 = 163 g/ day

40% fats = 800 kcal --> divide by 9 = 89 g/ day

Which products can I order with diabetes?

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, your doctor will tell you what effect carbohydrates have on your blood sugar level. It is also important that you carefully select the type of carbohydrate you are taking. Whole grain products, carbohydrates from fruit and vegetables and fibre are good for you. Be careful with short-chain carbohydrates such as sugar and unsaturated fats.

Most of our products are low in sugar, or contain sweeteners instead of sugar. For example, the Shape Shake 2.0 contains the sweeteners stevia and sucralose which are metabolized independently of insulin.

All in all, however, you should strive to eat a low carbohydrate diet.

What are sugar substitutes / sweeteners?

As the name suggests, sugar substitutes are supposed to replace sugar. Our aim is to produce products with less or no sugar in order to offer healthier alternatives.

Sweeteners chemically belong to alcohol, but have nothing to do with alcohol itself. They are classified as carbohydrates.

The most important thing about sweeteners is that they have a much higher sweetening power than sugar. They have little or no influence on the metabolism.

Vitamins, minerals and trace elements are vital to the body. Many of the essential nutrients can only be absorbed through nutrition. That's why it is really important that you eat fruits and vegetables every day.
How can I eat healthier?

How can I change my diet?

Where do sudden cravings come from?

You are fighting cravings, even though you are highly motivated to loose weight and eat healthy? Here is an explanation to this phenomenon:

Sudden cravings are an intense longing for food, which are different from person to person and can have different causes: Lack of sleep, the happiness you get through eating by it causing the release of dopamine, habit and a high calorie deficit.

How do I calculate the ideal calorie requirement to lose weight in a healthy way?

To lose weight you need a calorie deficit of 500 kcal. So you can lose about 0.5 kg of body weight per week - ideally, of course, body fat.

A calorie deficit means you eat less than you consume through activity.

There are two ways to reach a deficit: either eat less or move more. Ideally, of course, is a combination of both.

Which diet / training is suitable for the different somatotypes?

STRENGTH TRAINING FOR THE ECTOMORPHIC TYPE

Since the ectomorphic body type finds it particularly difficult to build muscle, training with fewer repetitions (6-8), longer breaks (2 minutes between sets), but heavier weights, is recommended. The basic exercises and various isolation exercises should be incorporated into the training.
