Vegan Protein French Toast
Ingredients
For the French toast:

4 sliceswhole-grain sliced bread

250 mloat milk

2 tbspInstant Oats

1 tbsplemon juice

1 tspFlavour Kick Vanilla

1 tbsp

1 tspCoconut oil

60 gflaked almonds

1 pinchsalt
For the strawberries on top:

60 gfresh strawberries

1 tsplemon juice
-
0.5 tspFlavour Kick Vanilla

optional toppingsvegan whipped cream, flaked almonds, maple syrup, powdered sugar
Preparation

Cut the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Mix up the lemon juice and Flavor Kick, and drizzle over the strawberries. Mix well and set aside.

In a bowl, mix the oat milk, Instant Oats, Flavor Kick, Vegan Protein, and salt.

Spread the almond flakes onto a large, flat plate.

Pick up a slice of bread. Dip into the batter until it’s totally saturated. Flip and repeat. Then coat them with the almond flakes. Repeat for every slice of bread.

Heat up the coconut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Cook each slice of French toast for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden-brown.

Stack up the slices of French toast, top with the strawberries, and eat while still warm.

Garnish with vegan whipped cream, almond flakes, maple syrup, or powdered sugar.
