Vanilla Protein Flan

20 gWhey Protein Vanilla

1 tspFlavour Kick Vanilla

100 mllow-fat milk

1vanilla bean

optionalsugar-free caramel syrup for topping
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175° C.

Add the egg, water, Whey Protein, and Flavor Kick to a bowl and mix with a whisk. Set aside.

Put the milk into a small pot. Scrape the vanilla seeds out of the pod and add to the milk in the pot. Carefully bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Sieve the hot milk and add to the egg mixture. Mix with the whisk again.

Pour the mixture into a deep, oven-safe dish. Cover with aluminum foil.

Put the dish on a baking sheet. Fill the baking sheet with water until it’s half as deep as the dish.

Bake the flan for about 50 minutes. Allow to cool.

After the flan is completely cooled, loosen the sides with a knife. Cover with a plate, then tip both over together to invert the flan onto the plate. Serve drizzled with caramel syrup if desired.
