The wait is over! It’s strawberry season again! Our protein-packed strawberry cake is a celebration of these summery morsels of joy. And do you know what’s absolutely crucial for us? Nuts. Roasted flaked almonds and our Just Nuts spread turn this vegan strawberry cake into an irresistible warm-weather dessert.

220 gInstant Oats

60 galmond flour

1 tbspWhite Chia Seeds

1 tspbaking powder

0.25 tspbaking soda

2ripe bananas (about 200g)

80 gunsweetened applesauce

80 mloat milk

2 tbsplemon juice

1 tspFlavour Kick Vanilla

300 gstrawberries
For the topping:

70 gflaked almonds
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180° C.

Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well.

Put all the wet ingredients into a blender. Puree until fully blended. Transfer to a separate bowl.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet. Stir well to create a smooth cake batter.

Dice the strawberries and fold them gently into the batter.

Line a cake form with parchment paper, or grease with oil. Pour the batter in and drizzle the Just Nuts spread on top.

Top it all with the flaked almonds.

Bake the strawberry cake for 60 minutes.
