Moist protein muffins made without a grain of protein powder? No added sugar – all the sweetness from fresh fruit? Yes, it’s true. These banana raspberry protein muffins really do deliver. They’re the perfect healthy protein snack for whenever you need them.

Ingredients

    bananas
  • 50 g
    Bananen, reif
  • 50 g
    ground almonds
  • 2
    eggs
  • 200 g
    raspberries
  • 100 ml
    milk
  • 150 g
    low-fat quark (fromage frais)
  • 10 g
    cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • etwas
    Vanillemark oder -extrakt

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200° C.

    Mix all the ingredients except the berries in a bowl until a smooth batter is formed. Fold in the raspberries, reserving a few for garnish.

    Fill the muffin cups halfway with the batter.

  • 4

    Garnish the muffins with a couple of raspberries before putting them in the oven.

    Bake the muffins for 25 minutes until golden brown.
