Mint Matcha Lemonade (High Protein)

The combination of grassy, clean matcha with sweet and tangy lemons is a refreshing pairing in this matcha lemonade. Our lemonade clear whey makes it all possible, providing a high-protein backdrop for the soothing flavours of mint & matcha.

30 gfoodspring lemonade clear whey

250 mlsparkling water

4fresh mint leaves

1 tspmatcha tea powder

50 mlhot water

1 handfulice cubes
Preparation

Combine the lemonade clear whey and sparkling water in a jug or protein shaker. Stir until the powder has dissolved then set aside so the foam can subside.

Meanwhile, tear up the mint leaves and add to a large glass. Bash with the end of a wooden spoon or rolling pin to crush the leaves (this is called ‘muddling’).

In a small bowl, add the hot water to the matcha powder and whisk until the tea is mixed in and no lumps remain.

Add the ice cubes to the glass and pour in the lemonade. Top with the matcha and serve.
