Golden Milk Recipe

Watch out, morning coffee: your competition has arrived. Golden milk, also known as a turmeric latte, is great at giving you warmth and energy all day long. And the turmeric root is fierce: it contains essential oils which have a positive effect on our digestion. Mix it up with some milk and Whey Protein for a creamy, sweet power drink for cold days.

25 gWhey Protein Vanilla

0.5 tsppowdered turmeric

1 piecefresh ginger, thumb-sized

1 pinchpepper
Preparation

Put the milk, water, Whey Protein, and turmeric into a shaker. Shake to mix.

Pour the contents of the shaker into a pot. Add the ginger and the pepper.

Bring to a simmer, stirring often, and keep at a simmer for 2 minutes.

Strain the golden milk through a sieve and pour into a mug.
