Chocolate Orange Cookies

If you’ve always dreamed of your very own Breakfast at Tiffany’s moment… these vegan chocolate orange cookies are just what you’re looking for. Chic and minimalist, these beauties transform any coffee break into a one-of-a-kind experience.

Ingredients

For the cookies:

  • 2 tbsp
    White Chia Seeds
  • 6 tbsp
    orange juice
  • 160 g
    Instant Oats
  • 60 g
    ground almonds
  • 1.5 tsp
    baking powder
  • 50 g
    Coconut oil
  • 30 ml
    oat milk
  • 1 tsp
    Flavour Kick Vanilla
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 50 g
    chocolate chips
  • 1
    orange, zested

You will also need:

  • 100 g
    dark chocolate

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 175° C.

    Mix the Chia Seeds with the orange juice in a small bowl. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.

    Mix all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

    Add the wet ingredients. Mix until you have a smooth dough.

    Schoko-Stückchen und Orangenabrieb unterheben. Fold the chocolate chips and orange zest into the dough.

    Work with moist hands. Take ½ tsp of the dough at a time, roll it into a ball, and place it onto a sheet of parchment paper laid on a cookie sheet. Press flat.

    Bake the chocolate orange cookies at 175° C for 15 minutes.

    Set the cookies aside to cool.

    Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler.

  • 10

    Dip each cookie halfway into the melted chocolate. Decorate with orange zest as desired.
